1. Plans and prices
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). Prices are shown at checkout before you authorise payment.
2. Subscriptions belong to a company
A Premium subscription applies to exactly one company in Bizela. If your account has several companies, each company that needs Premium requires its own subscription and is billed separately. Upgrading one company does not change the plan of any other company.
3. Recurring billing through PayFast
Premium is a recurring subscription paid by card through PayFast. When you subscribe you authorise PayFast to charge the subscription amount approximately monthly (Premium Monthly) or approximately annually (Premium Annual) from the subscription start date, and on each renewal date thereafter, until the subscription is cancelled or ends. Your card details are entered on PayFast and are not stored by Bizela. Bizela records your authorisation (company, account, plan, amount, frequency, the versions of these terms you accepted, and the time) as evidence of the subscription agreement.
4. Renewals, failed payments and grace period
- Automatic renewal. Premium continues from period to period automatically until cancelled or expired.
- Renewal-processing tolerance. Because a provider may process a renewal slightly before or after the exact period end, Premium remains active for up to 24 hours after the period end while a renewal is being processed.
- Failed renewal. If PayFast reports a failed renewal payment, or no renewal payment is received within the tolerance period, the subscription is marked as payment overdue (past due).
- 7-day grace period. From the moment a subscription becomes past due, a 7-day grace period starts. Premium features remain available during the grace period so your business is not interrupted.
- Recovery. If PayFast confirms a successful payment during the grace period, the subscription returns to active and Premium continues.
- Expiry. If no successful payment is received by the end of the grace period, the subscription expires and the company returns to the Free entitlement.
5. What happens when Premium ends
- Your company, customers, quotes, invoices, payments, allocations, reversals and document history are NOT automatically deleted. Bizela preserves business records.
- Free-plan limits apply again: the company can create new quotes and invoices only within its free allowance.
- Premium-only functionality (for example banking details and custom terms on documents, customer statements, Premium document-management actions and PDF sharing) becomes unavailable according to the entitlement rules.
- Premium configuration you previously saved (such as banking details and terms text) may be preserved so it is available again if you reactivate.
6. Cancellation
- You can cancel at any time from the company's Subscription page (a company owner or admin must do this).
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period ("cancel at period end"). No further renewals are charged.
- Premium access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- You can withdraw a cancellation before the period ends and the subscription will simply continue.
- Cancelling a subscription is not the same as deleting your account or company. Your records stay in Bizela and Free-plan limits apply once Premium ends.
7. Refunds
Subscription fees are charged in advance for the period selected. Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable South African consumer law. Contact support@bizela.co.za if you believe you have been charged in error.
8. Price and plan changes
If we change Premium prices, the change will not apply to a period you have already paid for. We will give reasonable notice before a new price applies to your renewals, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.
9. Billing queries
For any billing query, email support@bizela.co.za with your company name and the PayFast reference if you have it. These terms form part of the Terms of Service. Your subscription contract is with Bizela Technologies (Pty) Ltd, Registration No. 2026/714893/07.
